Child pornography charges dismissed against Alabama lawyer

State of Georgia v. T.R.

Our client was a respected Alabama lawyer who was initially arrested on felony domestic violence charges.

During the course of the investigation, a computer was seized from our client’s residence and numerous images of child pornography were found.

Our client was facing at least five years in prison and permanent disbarment from the practice of law. We were able to prove that the search warrant used to enter our client’s house was issued unlawfully as there were fatal flaws in the affidavit submitted by the officer in support of the warrant.

As a result, the District Attorney agreed not to indict our client on the child pornography charges.
