A Sandy Springs physician has been indicted on child molestation charges by a Fulton County grand jury.
Dr. Kelly Thrasher is alleged to have molested an underage girl while she was at a sleepover at his home. According to police, soon after detectives began investigating the molestation complaint, Thrasher voluntarily checked himself into the Ridgeview Medical Center. He was arrested after being released from the facility in late January.
The grand jury also indicted him on charges of sexual battery and aggravated sexual battery.
Thrasher has also been accused of sexually assaulting a 38 year-old woman when she was visiting his home in November 2012. That case is scheduled to be heard in Sandy Springs Municipal Court next week.
