Kimberly Lindsey, a deputy director at the CDC, was arrested along with her live-in boyfriend Thomas Westerman and charged with the offenses of child molestation and beastiality.
It’s unclear at this point what the precise allegations are, but the couple are alleged to have engaged in sexual acts with, or in the presence of, a 6 year-old boy. Both of them have been released on bond. The case has been assigned to ADA Donna Stribling and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for December 1st.
As an Atlanta criminal defense attorney who specializes in sex offense cases, I have represented too many individuals who have been falsely accused of horrific acts such as this. The couple is presumed innocent and it is very likely that an aggressive defense investigation is already underway.
