We take full advantage of our ability to attract some of the leading experts in the country. We have helped exonerate many innocent clients with the use of science and will continue to do so for years to come.
One area of science that has become increasingly useful over the years is computer forensics. We work with the top computer forensics experts who will examine our client’s cell phones, tablets, and computer hard drives to obtain deleted text messages and email correspondence, Facebook communications, chat room logs, internet history information, GPS location data, and other types of computer data that can be used to impeach prosecution witnesses as well as prove our client’s innocence.
In every child molestation case, we work closely with one of the nation’s leading experts in the field of child sexual abuse disclosures and forensic interview techniques. The expert reviews all of the evidence in the case and critically examines the forensic interviews of the children. Many cases involving false allegations are the result of improper and suggestive interviewing techniques. With our expert’s assistance, these flaws can often be exposed to the prosecution prior to trial and lead to a dismissal of the charges against our client.
In cases involving an alleged injury, the evidence will be examined by a medical expert. We are frequently able to consult with some of the top doctors at Emory and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in these cases. Click here for a perfect example of how a leading medical expert helped us prove the innocence of a Gwinnett County teacher who was falsely accused of a brutal sex offense.
In cases going to trial, we will use jury consultants who will organize mock trials and focus groups for us to test our defense and then assist us during jury selection. See more about this under Trial Preparation.
